The Original, the New and the Stupid Batmobile
The Batmobile has been an awesome vehicle since the beginning of Batman’s career. He started in the sixties with a modified Lincoln Futura, which looked more or less like a futuristic sedan.

For the first Batman movies, Batman changed to a sleek, sport car like model based on a Chevrolet platform. Everything worked on this model, including the jet engine in the back.

Later, Batman changed car again. For the great movie Batman Begins he chose a more tank-like vehicle that has been described as a cross between a Lamborghini and a Hummer. The tank-like Batmobile is definately my favorite – it is so much more Batman than all his previous vehicles.

Besides the three famous Batmobiles, Batman has also driven a jet powered coupe in the animated series The Batman and a slightly ridiculous Batmobile with dragon wings.

Here and there people are also trying to build their own Batmobiles. If you base it on a Chevrolet Corvette, it can go quite well:
