		<title>The Original, the New and the Stupid Batmobile</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Batmobile has been an awesome vehicle since the beginning of Batman’s career. He started in the sixties with a modified Lincoln Futura, which looked more or less like a futuristic sedan.<br />

<p>For the first Batman movies, Batman changed to a sleek, sport car like model based on a <a href="http://www.transportspecs.com/chevrolet-cars/">Chevrolet</a> platform. Everything worked on this model, including the jet engine in the back.<br />

<p>Later, Batman changed car again. For the great movie Batman Begins he chose a more tank-like vehicle that has been described as a cross between a Lamborghini and a Hummer. The tank-like Batmobile is definately my favorite – it is so much more Batman than all his previous vehicles.<br />

<p>Besides the three famous Batmobiles, Batman has also driven a jet powered coupe in the animated series The Batman and a slightly ridiculous Batmobile with dragon wings.<br />

<p>Here and there people are also trying to build their own Batmobiles. If you base it on a Chevrolet Corvette, it can go quite well:<br />
