Turning it off would raise the speed to about 250 mph. Re: hunks of crap, a 250 is a decent size road starter bike that could probably achieve 120 mph without a problem. The Kawasaki is a nice step into the early 80's xD I still prefer the '72 Honda CB 750 Four, over every other bike out there. It's fast, reliable, and fun to ride. Parts are a bitch.
